Webinar: How NYC’s Industrial Frontline is Pivoting to Meet Critical Supply Chain Needs

Throughout New York, supply chains and business operations were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Some companies, however, have been successful in pivoting their normal operations to provide much needed medical supplies, food, and other critical supply chain goods to the city—developing new revenue streams in the process.

Ferrara Manufacturing, a leader in women’s tailored garments, shifted its operations to provide vital personal protective equipment to frontline healthcare workers.

Port Morris Distillery, maker of a Puerto Rican Moonshine called Pitorro, has been able to add hand sanitizer to their product line and sell to the public via their website along with donating to medical and other essential facilities.

MaiiC hosted both companies on a webinar to talk about the impact of COVID-19 on their normal operations, how they identified an opportunity and the resources that made that possible, and ways they were able to connect to market demand.
